Ryan Carr has today selected his 19 man squad which will travel to Rochdale Hornets, who have appointed former Featherstone Rovers player Matt Calland as their new head coach. Rovers will be looking to build on last week's win away at Barrow Raiders.
Carr has made only one change to last week's squad, a change which was enforced. Jack Bussey's injury, coupled with a one match suspension means that he is replaced by Jorge Richardson who featured in Wednesday night's late defeat to Keighley Cougars for the reserve side.
Elsewhere, if John Davies takes to the field, it will be his 100th apperance as a Featherstone Rovers player. Our number 14 joined the club ahead of the 2016 season, from fellow Yorkshire outfit, Sheffield Eagles after spending only a year at the club.
A win could take Rovers as high as fifth in the Betfred Championship, level with York City Knights and Leigh Centurions, while Rochdale will want the points in an attempt to get off the foot of the table despite having games in hand on the teams around them.
