BOAS SET TO RETURN AGAINST BULLS

WATSON BOAS is set to make his return to Rovers action, after being included in the J Middleton & Sons 19-man Squad for Featherstone’s Coral Challenge Cup match against Bradford Bulls on Sunday.

Boas, who is sponsored by Choose At Home Blinds, was a try-scorer on Featherstone’s last visit to the Provident Stadium, but has not featured since suffering an injury in Featherstone’s Challenge Cup victory over Swinton in March.

The Rovers squad has also been bolstered by Jack Bussey’s return from suspension and Jimmy Beckett has been called up to the first team once again, after impressing in last week’s reserves win against Wakefield Trinity.

Jack Broadbent, who had a try-scoring debut in the previous round, is joined by Alex Sutcliffe on dual-registration from Leeds Rhinos.

The J Middleton & Sons 19-man Squad: Josh Hardcastle, Watson Boas, Scott Wheeldon, Cameron King, Jack Bussey, Brad Day, James Lockwood, John Davies, Luke Cooper, Danny Maskill, James Harrison, Jimmy Beckett, Makahesi Makatoa, Jack Render, Josh Walters, Jack Ormondroyd, Alex Sutcliffe, Jack Broadbent, Jorge Richardson.

Sunday’s fixture at Provident Stadium will kick-off at 3pm. Tickets are available online and from the Rovers Superstore.
