FEATHERSTONE LADIES SEAL CHALLENGE CUP FINAL SPOT

FEATHERSTONE Rovers Ladies have booked their place in the 2017 Challenge Cup Final after sweeping aside Wigan St Patricks in a riveting last-four encounter.

The Rovers romped to a 30-16 success on home soil, meaning they will meet Bradford in the July 30 finale - after the Bulls Ladies defeated Thatto Heath-St Helens 22-10.

Rovers' Kayliegh Bulman and Brogan Churm both scored twice, with England captain Andrea Dobson and Emma Slowe both crossing for a try apiece.

Natalie Gilmour celebrated being awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours this week by adding three goals in a hard-fought win for Featherstone.

Wigan battled throughout, Kerry-Ann Smith scoring twice, with Charlotte Foley and Emily Baggaley both scoring once each for St Pats.
