JOSH Hardcastle burst onto the scene in 2017 and, after being awarded a 2-year contract, he went on to collect the accolades of top try scorer of the year and the supporters’ player of the year in a breakthrough year for the centre.

The 25 year-old three-quarter, who arrived from local amateur side, Featherstone Lions, made an instant impact, quickly becoming a fans’ favourite at The LD Nutrition Stadium.

He has played in the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats junior system an also played in Australia for the Whitsunday Brahmans.

Hardcastle will be looking to make his presence felt once more in 2018, as the young centre has competition in the form of ex-lions teammate Gareth Gale.
