FRANKIE Mariano - a star of Scotland’s 2016 Four Nations campaign - arrived at Featherstone Rovers, during the closed season, as a major new signing for head coach Jon Sharp.
Aged 29, the back and front-row forward made his professional debut only eight years ago as a Hull Kingston Rovers player.
Following a short two-season spell there, he joined Wakefield Trinity and made more than 50 appearances for the club in three seasons.
Castleford Tigers came as his next home, the forward joining the Mend-A-Hose Jungle outfit prior to the start of the 2014 campaign.
Following an impressive international jaunt last term, the Rovers moved quickly to secure his services late last year.
